Ans : Plants are the producers in the ecosystem as they use sunlight, water, and nutrients from the soil to produce food through photosynthesis. They provide food and oxygen for other organisms. Animals, including herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores, depend on plants for food. They consume plants directly or consume other animals that have fed on plants. Microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi, play vital roles in the ecosystem. They decompose dead organic matter, breaking it down into simpler nutrients that can be absorbed by plants. In this way producers, consumers and decomposers interact with each other in an ecosystem.
