| Ans : The crust is the outermost layer of the earth. It extends 50 km below surface of earth. The crust is made of solid rocks and silicate minerals. Building houses, farming, planting trees, making roads, etc. are done on the upper surface of the mountain. Rivers, seas, forests, mountains etc. are on the surface of this level. In this part of the earth, there are mines of rock, metal, coal and oil.
