| Ans : Stroking method of making magnet : Place a magnetic object (iron plate or nail) on the table. Touch the magnetic object with the north pole of a permanent bar magnet from one end to the other end. After reaching the other side, pick up the magnet and put it back in the same position and rub it again.
In this way, after rubbing for some time, the magnetic object becomes a magnet. The pole of the magnet which is lifted from the side of the magnetic object, the opposite pole is produced on that side.
